An HR platform was trapped on a Laravel/PHP/jQuery stack it had outgrown, with AI services that had to survive the migration.

Migrated 38 controllers and 38 models to Next.js 14 across six modules, retained the Python FastAPI AI services behind a new Node.js gateway, and shipped in 5–6 weeks.

The details

Full platform rebuild for an HR SaaS, migrated from Laravel 11 (PHP/Blade/jQuery/MySQL) to a modern Next.js/TypeScript stack. Rebuilt Employee Management, Performance & Goals, AI Insights, Settings, Reports and User Management, retaining the existing Python FastAPI AI services.
